3–4:45pm Reviewing the Lojong Teachings: Class 6

Location: Nalandabodhi, 6218 Quinpool Rd.

On the suggestion of Her Eminence Mindrolling Jetsün Khandro Rinpoche and also on popular demand, we started on September 14 a series of Lojong classes in which we will listen to the sections of Khandro Rinpoche’s recent teachings at Dalhousie University to review, contemplate and discuss these important teachings which were so inspiring and continue to inspire us.

The Maha-sangha class is organized by Karma Changchub Ling (KCCL) as requested by Khandro Rinpoche but will be conducted and lead by various senior teachers of the different Buddhist communities in Halifax.

The following classes will very likely also take place at the Nalandabodhi, but — dependent on time and attendance of the classes — could also be hosted by other centers in the downtown Halifax area.

The class is presently envisioned to be a bi-weekly class taking place on Saturday afternoons.

As for the teachings, on instructions by Khandro Rinpoche, no transcriptions are intended to be made available to the public. As for the classes, besides the participants of the Dalhousie event, new people can join for the upcoming Lojong classes.

If you intend to participate at these classes, please register RSVP (kccl.contact@gmail.com) so that we can make better plans regarding the location and places of future classes.

Suggested contribution for each class is $5.
