7–8:30pm New Kagyü Ngöndro class: Sacred Outlook Ngöndro presentation

Description: This new class is geared toward new and old ngöndro students.
Even though the individual classes can stand on their own and people who have received ngöndro transmission can join in at any time, the classes will also be recorded so that people can listen to missed classes if they so wish.
In this second class, we will go over Trungpa Rinpoche’s discussion on ngöndro in his text: “Sacred Outlook”.
The third class will present the “transmission(s)” necessary to start up the ngöndro practice.
Requisites for beginning students: refuge and bodhisattva vows, and a good exposure to shamatha/vipashyana practice, as well as a basic understanding of buddhism (four noble truths, etc.).
Who can attend: Whoever has received ngöndro transmission or has intention to start up this practice.
Time: Wednesday, October 10, from 7pm to 8:30pm.
