Description: The Four Dharmas of Gampopa, is a profound set of instructions by Gampopa, the main founder of the Kagyu Lineage of Tibetan Buddhism.

About the teacher:

Acharya Choying Gyurmey was ordained by the Very Venerable Khenpo Tsultrim Gyatso Rinpoche in 1992 at the age of 10. After completing basic monastic training and education in Tibetan language, scriptures, rituals and Buddhist history, he entered the 13-year Acharya Program of study at the Rigpe Dorje Monastic Institute at the Lava Kagyu Tekchen Ling Monastery in northeastern India. He successfully completed the program of Higher Buddhist Philosophy and was conferred the Masters (Acharya) Degree. He is presently the resident teacher of the Rigpe Dorje Centre of the Jamgon Kongtrul Lineage in Montreal and we are delighted to welcome him on his first visit to Nova Scotia. He teaches in English.
