Dispelling Obstacles: Dorje Trolö Weekend

From time to time, Buddhist communities encounter various kinds of severe obstacles, as for example the troubling news of certain allegations regarding leaders of large Buddhist organizations in the last weeks and year. To sort out these allegations (i.e., what is true and not true, and to what extent) after the initial shock wave is also usually a lengthy process. At the same time, the people effected by these events in one way or the other can also become greatly discouraged, upset, sad, etc., and develop very fixed views.

As practitioners, we all know that one way (although not the only way) to deal with this is to sit or meditate in order to infuse space and perspective into the situation and to cut through solidifying limiting conceptions.

KCCL would therefore like to invite you to join us this coming Saturday and Sunday in performing one of the best practices for working with obstacles: The Sādhana of Mahāmudrā (Dorje Trolö).

The Sādhana of Mahāmudrā contains a vivid description of the obstacles presented by physical, psychological, and spiritual materialism in the modern age and prescribes unwavering devotion to wakefulness as the antidote.

Please join in whenever you can. But since space is limited and since meals need to be planned, please contact us a.s.a.p. if you intend to participate: kccl.contact@gmail.com, or call: 902-576-3655.
