Lucid Dreaming and Dream Yoga
A public hybrid talk given by Tenzin Wangden
Time: Tuesday, June 10, starting at 7pm Atlantic Time
Location: Karma Changchub Ling, 871 Young Avenue
Discover the fascinating world of lucid dreaming and dream yoga in a public evening talk led by Tenzin Wangden, a Tibetan Buddhist monk from the Gelugpa tradition—one of the major schools of Tibetan Buddhism and the lineage of the Dalai Lama. Blending science, psychology, and spirituality, the talk will explore how lucid dreaming can be a powerful tool for self-exploration, emotional healing, and unlocking creativity, while dream yoga offers a gateway to deeper awareness and insight into the nature of reality. Whether you’re seeking to overcome nightmares, expand your consciousness, or begin a transformative inner journey, this is a rare opportunity to learn about the practice of dream yoga and lucid dreaming in the Tibetan monastic tradition.
Tenzin Wangden studied Buddhist philosophy for sixteen years, from 2001 to 2016, and then participated for two years in an exchange program at Emory University. He works on the relationship between science and Buddhism. He is currently completing his Geshe Lharampa degree, and is visiting Halifax for a research project.
