What a wonderful event!

KCCL 10th Anniversary Celebration

The hybrid festivities included messages from our spiritual advisors, a slideshow of the history and vision of KCCL, the Guru Yoga practice of “Calling the Guru from Afar”, a brief presentation of our Capital Campaign (ending mid June) thank-you-s to all the teachers and the many people without whose support and participation we would not have been able to pursue our Mahasangha vision, and of course snacks and drinks.

We received dear and heartfelt messages from Ani Pema, and from Dzogchen Pönlop Rinpoche, which you can watch here: Address by Dzogchen Ponlop Rinpoche, and from His Holiness the 17th Gyalwa Karmapa, Ogyen Trinley Dorje, which you can watch here: Address by His Holiness Karmapa.

If you wish, you can also watch the entire event here: YouTube video of KCCL’s 10th Anniversary Celebration.

Evam

During the celebration we passed out EVAM pins to all the in-person participants and encouraged everyone to wear it. The Sanskrit word EVAM means “thus” and is the symbol of the union of the positive and negative aspects of the cosmic energy while also signifying the non-dual unity of the female principle “e” and the male principle “vam”. It is also the personal seal of the Trungpa tulkus, and we were told that Trungpa Rinpoche was always wearing his EVAM ring. Since we still have a good number of EVAM pins, we would be happy to give them to you if you so wish. If so, please let us know: kccl.contact@gmail.com;  902-454-5335.
