Guided by Lodro Sangpo
Hosted by Thrangu Monastery in Vancouver
Friday, June 26 to Sunday, June 28
This three‑day retreat was based on The Pointing Out of the Dharmakāya (chos sku bdzub tshugs), written in the late 16th century by the Ninth Karmapa, Wangchuk Dorje. The retreat was structured in a similar way as set up by Khenchen Thrangu Rinpoche for the three‑year retreat at Gampo Abbey. Thus each of the three main components—stillness, movement, and appearance—was presented by step‑by‑step questions that were explored in meditation by the participants.
Please notice that in some of the earlier videos there are some little audio difficulties due to the microphone batteries running low, etc. and since Thrangu monastery tried for the first time to “combine” Zoom and YouTube broadcasting, but that most of these little problems were all worked out in the later talks.
