2024 Vajrayogini Druppa:

The Basics & the Essentials

In-person at KCCL and also online via OCEAN

From August 24 to August 28, 2024

Description: This druppa will consist of five full practice days and is a great opportunity to further familiarize or deepen yourself with the entire practice, including the abhisheka and feast sections, which will be recited every day. The last day will feature a grand feast.

The theme of this year’s druppa is The Basics & the Essentials. We will therefore address both the “basic” components of the Vajrayogini practice as well as the “essential” points of the practice as presented by various contemporary and traditional commentators: Trungpa Rinpoche, Thrangu Rinpoche, etc., Karmapa Thongwa Tönden, Pawo Tsug-lak Trengwa, etc. Each day we will include a brief presentation of these basic and essential topics,

Who can attend: Open to sadhakas who have received the Vajrayogini abhisheka, and have their own copy of the Sadhana of the Glorious Coemergent Mother, by the Sixth Karmapa, Thongwa Tönden. “New” and “old” Vajrayoginis are more than welcome to join.

Location: In Mahasangha shrine room at KCCL

Time: August 24 to August 28, 2024.
